brother dcpl3550-cdw. new (own-brand) toner cartridges not being recognised by the printer, even though a new one is installed. tried taking new one out and putting old empty one back in, but same error message comes up: no toner. open top cover, then install toner won`t honour the warranty as we`ve only ever used own-brand cartridges from cartridgesave.

im stuart writing this on behalf of emma as im miles away but emma is on site.oki mc561 the printer is knackered. emmas partner has looked for any torn pieces of paper to no avail but apparently its being very temperamental. the printer does get heavy use and so could probably do with a service at the least. its our main printer so a speedy response would be excellent.
