Scottcanon mg5550after message saying fault r200 ? several times I cleaned the printer head thoroughly (24 hours) put new cartridges in but after placing it back in place forgot to fold over the locking bar. leaving the printer open I pressed start button it made high piched wizzing sound. stopped it put locking bar in place pressed start again. when head started to move left quickly closed control panel lid /flap? it then stared to make starting up sounds ( ink jets being flushed ) when it suddenly went dead and will not start up. the printer head is now over on the far right and will not move. I feel the head must have jumped to the right slightly and has jammed. the main fuse (3 amp in the mains 3 pin plug is still ok could an internal fuse have blown?
Peterour printer has stopped working and the ink and paper lights are flashing intermittently. looking online it seems this means the waste ink pads are full.
